The primary learning outcome for our Executive Certificate is to offer continuing education opportunities that will help you recalibrate your church to grow disciples who live on mission, tackle old policies and outdated procedures, and honor the past while innovating towards the future. The Remissioning Church Executive Certificate is aimed at helping you and your church to bear new fruit and live on mission for the good of the neighborhood.

Wondering what the Church Remissioning Executive Certificate is? An executive certificate is a professional development credential designed for leaders to enhance their skills and knowledge in the church remissioning process, tools, and competencies.

Upon evaluation of the final project The John Leland Center in partnership with Iwa Collaborative will award an Executive Certificate.

The Church Remissioning Executive Certificates starts with an intensive at The John Leland Center in Arlington, VA on October 16-17, 2025. Then will meet for eight live coaching sessions with Josh Hayden (these sessions will be recorded as well).

The coaching sessions will end the week of December 14.

The final project will be due January 31, 2026.
